Memorial Day Weekend

Hope everyone had a fun and relaxing memorial day weekend! Mine was spent enjoying local beers, celebrating a wedding and a proposal (watch here!) and purchasing my first new car! It was quite the eventful weekend :)

My new baby! A Scion xD. Its everything I wanted in a car - a manual hatchback with good gas mileage, big enough for me to be comfortable but small enough to find good parking spots. She's zippy and cute and I love her. Suggestions for names? I've been instructed to call her Quinn but I'm open for suggestions ;)

Photo booth fun at a friend's wedding. Chris and I went down to the free zoo in Chicago 4 years ago right after we started dating - we took pictures in one of the photo booths there and they remain one of my all time favorite pictures of us. Unfortunately they have faded so much from hanging on my pin board that they are almost unrecognizable :(  I think these will be an adequate replacement :)

The new Sconnie beer that Chris has been so excited about - I'm not a huge beer drinker but this was pretty good (although nothing will replace Blue Moon for me).

Boots at the Essen Haus - I'm German, its only natural!
